Performing Arts School of Music

We offer two programs at our Performing Arts School of Music:

  1. Accelerated Music Program. The Accelerated program is a comprehensive program (4 levels) designed to develop musicianship in Theory, Technique, History, and Genres (Classical, Jazz, and Theatre). Students will be required to participate in 2 recitals (Spring and Holiday) and prepare a Jury in order to advance levels. Furthermore, students enrolled in the Accelerated Music Program will be eligible to participate in regional and national organizations such as Gold Cup, Guild, and NYSSMA.
  2. General Music Program. The General Music Program offers development in musicianship in Theory, Technique, Traditional Popular, and General music. Students enrolled in the General Music Program will be required to participate in 1 recital (Spring). Students are not required to prepare a Jury or participate in regional or national organizations.
